Information processed and its purpose
A booking request records your name, email address, telephone number, the address you provide, your selected rental product, rental dates, language of communication and any additional information you provide. The request identifier, submission time and processing details are also recorded. The rental company may add notes relating to the rental arrangements and the agreed price to the booking.
The information is used to process your booking request, contact you, agree on availability and price, and manage a possible rental. The information is obtained from you or from the rental company handling the booking. Sending your booking request initiates the actions you have requested before a rental agreement is made. Sending a booking request does not yet confirm the rental.
An acknowledgement of the booking request is sent to the email address you provide, and processing notifications are sent to the rental company's administrators. Do not enter health information, a personal identity code, payment card details or other information unnecessary for processing your booking request in the additional information field.
Access to information and service providers
Customers' names, contact details and additional information are available to authorised administrators who have signed in. The public calendar shows the booked period and product, not the customer's contact details. The rental company makes the final rental decision; the online form does not automatically confirm a rental.
The website, booking system, images and booking information are hosted by Hostingpalvelu. The website is managed using WordPress and Elementor. Emails are delivered through Resend. Service providers process the information necessary to provide the service. Resend's processing of information may include processing outside the EU or EEA. Retention and deletion
Booking information remains in the shared booking system. Cancelling a booking request or booking releases the reserved period but does not automatically delete its information. The rental company is responsible for assessing the need to retain information and for deleting it. You can ask about the retention period for your information and request the deletion of unnecessary information using the contact details above. Retention obligations relating to a possible rental agreement and accounting are assessed separately.
Your rights and contacting us
You may request access to your personal information and the correction of inaccurate information. Where the applicable conditions are met, you may request the deletion, restriction of processing or transfer of your information, and object to its processing. Send your request to info@vuokrausliike.fi. Your identity may be verified before information is disclosed or changed. If you believe that your information has been processed unlawfully, you may contact the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
Technical operation
The service requires technical connection and security information to deliver pages and prevent misuse. The booking system limits repeated submissions using a sender identifier or a hash derived from the IP address. Administrators sign in using WordPress user accounts. Essential login cookies are used to maintain the signed-in session. No advertising or analytics tracking has been added to the website's own booking form.
